Welcome to another blog post by us, Style Spectrum!
Just a heads up, we will be posting weekly outfits on Fridays, and be sure to follow us on Instagram for your daily dose of fashion.
Today's theme is 'pop of colour' - it's all about injecting some colour into our monochromatic wardrobes. Big and bright colours are all the rage at the moment, and we all try to add colour into their outfits as if it was a chore or a hassle. We bring you two outfits, two extremes that we hope will have you feeling inspired.
Yanni wears bold in-your-face hot pink and contrasting pale denim hues; she wears her chunky knit over a denim buttoned skirt to emphasise her figure where the knit takes away. Paired with mint pastel socks, this lazy bubblegum look is fun and daring.
Chelsea on the other hand goes for a muted look, opting for a pale boxed silhouette of a crop top, pairing it with black trousers and again, her all time favourite high top kicks. Cool, edgy, chic - so many descriptives that can do no justice to this effortless look.
We both contrast in style and colour, but are united by the myriad of bright colours of the background, making this a really fun shoot to do. Together they each in their own right show how a pop of colour can vary in definition for different people.
Some of you might think that Chelsea's pop of colour is too muted, or too extreme, others might even think Yanni isn't wearing nearly enough colour. How do you introduce colour into your outfits?
